Daltrey - George Best movie

hi-

just saw the "Best" movie last night.
(for anyone in UK/PAL - I have it on VHS)
It's an ok film of a great man  -
what lets the movie down is that they tried to cram too much into it-looks 
like they listed all the major events in his life and devoted a 3 min scene 
to each.the result is it can look patchy at times and doesn't offer much 
that we didn't already know.
on the upside,the performances are great,and there are some well shot 
scenes.
it is well worth seeing and i did enjoy it.

Roger appears for the 1st 10 mins and last 5 mins as Rodney Marsh - touring 
the chat shows and clubs with  a worn-out George Best.
He's superb as the character and really steals the scenes he's in.
his best(sorry for the pun) screen performance in yrs - if only it had been 
longer.....
