Quint; Lyrics; BTTB

Jim:

He reminds me of the ex-Marine neighbor in American Beauty (which includes
The Seeker, for Who content). If you don't know what I mean, see the movie
and know that Quint is a closet Who fan.

Brian:

Remind her the alternative could be lyrics like this:

"You want a piece of my heart/You'd better start at the start..." or :
"People think I'm insane because I am frowning alla time..." ("inane" I can
see) or for that matter: "Generals gathered in their masses/Just like
witches at Black Masses..."

She should count her blessings. And besides, we all know the British
English is different. "Catch you up" instead of "catch up with you" is
acceptable, for instance, if clumsy.

I have a subwoofer, but still think he should have been mixed the way he
was on LAL.

I understand what you're saying, but WL just plain old sucks. The Toronto
show, put on cassette or CDr from the videotape, sounds better...so it's
not that The Who were bad, but the mix certainly is (Rog too low, the band
too mechanical-sounding...no energy).
