To the Editors and Dean Goodman,
I take exception to your statement that "the Who emerged relatively unscathed" from the Cincinatti tragedy.  The band was subjected to lawsuits, Townshend retreated directly to the bottom of a bottle, and the eventual "farewell" tour was the indirect result of the Cincinatti deaths (as well as other factors).  Not to mention further distancing of the band from its fans and the rock concert  business that they helped create.

Please revisit the facts.
