I don't recall the article, but I remember an interview that Pete did
where he said that he was "not a well boy at that time". "The Shout" was
probably a good therapy prescription for Pete. It helps me when I've
had rough go of it. I do know that Roger was miffed by Pete's selection
of "I Moved". If I were Pete, and knew that Roger had access to the
Juliard orchestra for the performance, I would have selected "I Moved" too!
Can't blame him for his chioce. My second selection would have been the
"Praying Game" or "Street in the City".

Xmas Homework.

Best Who Album for me is QUAD.
I am emotionally connected to it from way back.
Favorite Who Song is DROWNED (SECRET POLICEMAN'S BALL).
I don't particularly like the studio
version. But whenever Pete sings it solo (SPB, or Hyde Park, or MSG '96),
	it gives me chills.
Favorite Pete Song is GONNA GET YOU (EMPTY GLASS). This song ROCKS! It is
also lyrically rich and arranged in a classy way. This is Pete doing
the "Cliff Townshend - Leader of the Band" kind of thing with the layered
backing vocals. It also is Pete emerging as the big-band front-man.
I dare you to drive slow while listening to this.

Keven O': Thanks for the question. Spare the coffee table.

Take care all!
