Here's the description courtesy Kim + Lester:

'John Peel voices a "strictly unauthorised" profile, (girlfriends talk, but
surviving members of the band refused to cooperate), of  the drummer who
lightened up The Who's image, powered their sound with his distinctive
"shotgun" style, and led their destructive exploits on stage and in hotel
rooms, before dying in 1978, aged 32'.
