[O'Neal, Kevin W.] Here I sit very groggy this morning, having
stayed up past Midnight reading this very same article out of Guitar Player
Mag (bought yesterday). I couldn't put it down.....("yes honey, I'll turn
the light off in a moment").
Of all the articles/interviews flying around of late, this by far
was the best I've seen. Great insight on the mind, the life, the skill and
the "how to".
Notice the "anger" in Pete's eyes on that second "windmill"
photo....circa mid-late 70's???? Man, he looks possessed.
Great cover complete with..................WHO'S BACK !!!

"What I need to do with

[O'Neal, Kevin W.] Sounds like he still yearns for the thrilling
days, and even sounds like he thinks they could come again, but is trying
not to let himself think that way.
I say it's not too late. Hell, this tour alone is
thrilling.......well, at least for us. But if a new album appears, the
thrilling days *could* be just around the corner.
Notice how he said "my talents come together in writing *music*
"........no mention of "songs".
He *does* seem optimistic (kind of) regarding the collaboration
attempt with Rog (and hopefully The OX).

When you said the article had "contradictions", were you talking
about the "what kind of music are you listening to at the moment?"
question/answer??
In one sentence he says he's not listening to much music at all
these days, but goes on to say that when he does it's a big mix using a
100cd juke box. He actually uses Foo Fighters as "easy listening" music!
Got a big chuckle on that one.
The next sentence he states that he is listening to *allot* of rock
and roll lately. Hmmmmmmmmm. That seemed like an "about-face".

On a different subject..........and this may have already been
posted (and not just on this list-----disclaimer):
Q Magazine has a "top 10" list of (forget how they worded it) most
"misunderstood" albums. Meaning, what albums reflect the artists claim that
"they and their music are not understood".
The Who By Numbers was like 7 or 8 (who can remember numbers).

	Stay in Tune,
