Backlogged Bush; That loser called The List; The Ozzman Stealth; A Kinks moment; Storytellers

>I haven't gotten my Bluebush CD either.

Jon:

I called MM.com yesterday, after I found out they took the money from my
credit card the day I ordered (two weeks ago Thursday). I didn't have to
hold the line, which was unexpected. The guy was very nice, and said it went
out last Thursday (so much for the 2-3 days, huh?). So I should get it any
day, according to him. We'll see. It would be nice to get it today. But they
guy said BTTB was selling as well as the Black Crowes w/Page and MM was
caught by surprise by the amount of orders. Hard to feel bad about having to
wait because it's selling so well.
I've given up on CDNow, but I can get the WN DVD locally so I will.
Tomorrow.

>So our boys got snubbed AGAIN on "The List" last night.

Ethan:

Hey, don't put yourself through it. The first one I saw had Paul McCartney
as the most dangerous Rock Star. Dangerous to what, tofu? Anyway, that told
me all I needed to know about that show. It's pathetic.

>TED is the acronym for Townshend, Entwistle and Daltrey, kinda cute as
Teddy
>Boys are a type of UK rocker. How are we going to fit Rabbit in there?

Keets:

It seems they're going by The Who again these days. Fine with me.

>refering to the one and only Ozzman, but could someone enlighten me? I
know
>that he's a huge Beatles fan, but never ever heard him express any liking
for
>the Who.

Samantha:

Considering how much Black Sabbath stole from The Who's sound, he'd damned
well be a fan! He ought to be sending them checks!

>Why wouldn't you just want the studio version of "Lola" on "Lola
>versus Powerman and The Moneygoround, Part One"?

Jim:

There are two versions; one with Coca Cola and the other with Cherry Cola
because The Kinks' management freaked about getting sued. But I agree with
owning Lola vs Powerman, and feel even stronger about Muswell Hillbillies
and Arthur which I feel are their two absolute best.

>company that did the reissues of the Kinks' 60's albums. This means
>it's considered an import.

They've all been reissued remastered with bonus tracks. However, I'd advise
buying them ASAP because these particular albums tend to go out of print
very fast. And they've been out for a few years already.

>I did not see all of it.

Derick:

The beautiful thing about VH1 is everything gets repeated.
