Great Shakes/Hot Space/Live Eminence

While in Barnes & Noble yesterday (looking for Who articles in the mag
section), an attendant asked if he could help me...I told him that I was
looking for the new REVOLVER with the Who article in it. He said that they
hadn't gotten the new one in, and then he asked "What's up with the Who
nowadays?", so I filled him in. Turns out this guy is a big Who fan, and
said that he had a collection of "Great Shakes" commercials from the
sixties, and that the Who are featured on a couple of them. Does anybody
know what the f**k he's talking about?

In allusion the the earlier comment about Queen...I was smart enough not to
buy that one in the first place.

And in closing, I've been listening to my '89 Raleigh boot, and I just
realized that the "EF" from that show is the one they used on "Join
Together". Also, the version of "I'm A Man" from this show beats the shit
out of the edited version on the box set from New York, as does this shows
version of "Won't Get Fooled Again". Does anybody know who pick the
performances that went on that album? If it was John Astley, White Fang may
have had somewhat of a point.
