I'm pretty sure this is due to record company issues on Eddie's side.  
(Basically) the same thing happened when Neil Young recorded "Mirrorball" 
with Pearl Jam as his backing band a few years ago.  Because of Pearl Jam's 
record company, Neil was forbidden from using the name "Pearl Jam" anywhere 
and also couldn't use the members names anywhere except the insert booklet.

But...most anyone who follows Pete or Eddie/Pearl Jam will be able to guess 
who the "special guest" alluded to on the front cover is.
