Jim:

I suspect this was remixed for surround, but I discovered something
unpleasant last evening: my DVD player was not able to read the burned CD.
So I have yet to know for sure...but songs like It's All Too Much have
noticable volume changes that on the DVD mix mean the sound in question is
in the rear channel. So I'll have to find an original to test my theory, I
guess.
But yes, I think I'll have to buy the entire collection AGAIN...wish they'd
do this to The Stones London material...

I don't know the details, but there is a longer version (I have a very poor
copy) of the song which I believe has all of the lyrics and an extended
ending. The movie version is heavily edited, but it does have a lyric not
included on (either of) the soundtrack. I dare not try to recall the lyrics
this early in the morning, and it's not the message of the ages or
anything. I just felt that while they were remixing this material, I don't
see why they couldn't have gone ahead and made an ultimate version. After
all, as I said before there was a good 30+ minutes left empty. Plenty of
room.
