[O'Neal, Kevin W.] "We're not sure if they're dirty?" What the
hell does that mean Marc? This whole concept of "selling out" is a joke!
What the hell is selling out anyway?! Wouldn't that mean that anyone making
money off of their music is a sell out? Are you saying that only musicians
who sit on the street and play their music for free (or for hand-outs) are
the non-sell outs? Lets not forget who runs this industry. Corporate USA,
less you've forgotten.
As far as The Who, name another band that dealt with the philosophy
of 'selling out' as early as The who.
Why should we listen to you? You're telling us that the Sex Pistols
embraced The who? Please. Guess you didn't hear that Pete literary fought
with the drummer of the Pistols over this same cliche of 'selling out'
(thought the drummer was actually Johnny). By the way, I'm also a Pistols
fan, and the Pistols wish they were popular enough to be able to make the
kind of money The who can make. Making money from your music does not
equate with selling out (what ever that means). Are you a sell out? Did you
get a kick back for plugging Pixelon.com in your "article"? The who are and
have always been progressive. Dell Computers knows it. Gateway Computers
knows it. To me Ibash-99 is a logical thing. Given Pete's Lifehouse work it
all comes together. And if it off sets the serious costs to the band so
that the band can make money for some very worthy charities, then WHO THE
FUCK ARE YOU to imply that this is bad!! Oh that's right, your a corporate
stiff working for a big corporate magazine, for what....oh yeah, MONEY! Do
you write for free? NOT! I was always under the impression that in the
literary world, a writer who writes for a magazine and a salary is a true
'sell out'. Go to the mirror Marc.

	Get in tune Marc,
