Well I did a quickie list and here's what I came up with:

#1 would be the Greater London Area of course.  Too many (some unknown) to
count.

#2 New York City with around 48 dates.  Lots of multiple day shows at the
Fillmore and Madison Square Gardens. Extended that to New Jersey and you'll have
to add a few more dates.

#3 San Francisco/Oakland area (26)

#4 Birmingham, England (23)

#5 a tie - Paris and the Greater Los Angeles area, each with 22

#7 a tie - Chicago and Manchester, England, England each with 20

#9 Brighton (19)

#10 a three-way tie - Boston, Mass., Leicester, England, and Toronto, Canada,
each with 15.
