who is throughout Rolling Stone

Picked up the latest copy of Rolling Stone and was pleasantly suprised with
Who information/reviews throughout:

1) Letter to editor dissing RS for dissing on the Who for selling out it's
tunes to commercialism

2) Nice article on the Who "officially" reforming. The periodic burying of
the hatchet and love/hate fest 'tween Roger and Pete. Roger hints at a NEW
Who record!!!! Wonderful news - Roger makes the analogy of their
relationship and future of the Who as recovering alcoholics - taking it
"one day at a time." Seems realistically promising. Pete says he has given
up fighting the fact that they will continue to play here and there.

3) Report of the Who playing both days at the Bridge Benefit with Rabbit
and Zak accompaning them. Glad I bought tickets for both shows! For those
going, CSN has dropped out 'coz Graham Nash recently broke both legs in a
boating accident.

4) A good review for Pete's new live record. Those having trouble finding a
copy, tonight there were 5 copies at the local Wherehouse Record Store in
Phoenix, AZ ( A large chain of stores in the West).

5) A nice retrospective review of The Who Sell-Out. "To hear these 13
tracks is to be transported to the wistful, alternately painful and joyous
territory that was the Who's - and a whole culture's....adolescence.

If that isn't enough, you get a pictorial of Brad Pitt in dresses and
article on Christine Aguilera (typical barf US magazine garbage).

I haven't been this thrilled after putting down a Rolling Stone since The
Who was on the cover back in 1982! Remember that cover story title...The
WHO..THE END (not that I liked the angle).
