	[O'Neal, Kevin W.]  Ya know, that's what my buddy in DC said when he
saw them (John's band) recently at the Black Cat.  And, he didn't notice a
hearing problem, although someone else (was that you Ed?) indicated that in
a personal meeting recently,  hearing loss was evident.  This is good to
hear though about his general health.  I guess the TV didn't give a clear
enough picture.  I just want these guys to keep on keepin' on!
	BUT........JOHN, PETE,.....you should quit smoking!!! I did it 10
years ago after 10 years of smoking.  You can do it!!
	But hey, look at all the obiese folk who smoke like chimney's and
live well past 80.  Go figure.
