I don't know about Source #2, but I believe Source #1 was a post from an
AOL address (i.e., an anonymous source which should be treated with the
skepticism due all anonymous sources) on alt.music.who, which offered no
corroborating evidence of either who they were or the validity of their
statements.  They may be right but they've offered no proof, and I doubt
very much that that post was from a member of the JEB or its associates.
Plus, if I recall the post said that "Lifehouse" had been cancelled without
specifying whether they meant the Dec. 6 BBC broadcast only, or a tour.

If you have anything to add from Source #2 or if I'm wrong on Source #1
please jump in.
