Tommy DVD; Pete's productions

Jeremy:

I've seen it listed on DVD sites, but it was a while ago. I'll be
interested to see if they will release it with the five channel sound it
originally had. I'm definitely looking to get it as soon as it comes out.

Andrew:

Not only did Pete produce the Thunderclap Newman album, he reportedly
played bass on it. And just as a piece of trivia (and perhaps to lead you
into another direction), around this time Pete also produced THE CRAZY
WORLD OF ARTHUR BROWN (who was featured briefly in the Marilyn Monroe part
of the Tommy movie), and Brown's band (Kingdom Come) featured Carl Palmer
on drums, who IMHO should have replaced Moon instead of Jones.
As far as I know, with the first Simon Townshend album these are the only
other bands PT produced (but then again, it's early in the morning and I'm
not fully awake yet).

Oh, and I'm sorry for the double post yesterday. Computer glitch.

                      Cheers ML

Rather bad lyrics:
