More on Lifehouse
Lifehouse is definatly on for a premiere on Radio 3
in December. Having bought a copy of The Independant newspaper, on which is a
half page picture of Pete on the cover, details of rehearsals (with a cast
including Geraldine James, David Threlfall, Kelly McDonald and an 11 year old
Philip Dowling) having started are revealed.
The report claims that Townshends ideas of 1971
"foretold the coming of the internet and the wide world web". The report
opens with "A new chapter is about to be written in the history of rock" and
describes Lifehouse with "it's musical content and it's prophetic storyline" as
"a lost classic".
The finished Lifehouse will apparently include
WGFA, BBE and BO'riley, all to be sung by Townshend as well as several new
compositions. However no dertails are revealed as to what will happen to
Lifehouse after it's premiere, while there is no mention of Daltrey or Entwistle
playing any part in the final proceedings.
