Have to weigh in on that post about PJ vs. Third Eye Blind's renditions of
Baba O' Riley.
I interviewed Stephen Jenkins, lead singer of TEB, and I asked him why they
included Baba in the middle of Semicharmed Life and he said "because it goes
derrrr, derrr, duhhh. Three chords, you know."
However, he went on to say that they were fans of high energy bands like the
Who, U2 and Kiss who give a good show, rather than stare at their shoes on
stage. Can't fault them for that.
