    Here is a statement from Keith in the early days with the 
Beachcomers explaining why he had no money to pitch in for gas:           
"I can't pay any petrol money because I've bought a Triffid."
 I think I'd find it alot funnier if I knew what a triffid was exactly. 
I gather it's a large poisonus plant?
