MCA vs. Capitol/EMI

ML,

>Thanks.<

You're quite welcome.

>Although I understood it was to be a double disc. So now we're
left with many tracks yet unreleased (or out of print, and unremixed),
and no plan to release them? Good ol' MCA. You can always count on them
to do the wrong thing! I've said it before; a monkey with a pen in his
paw would make better decisions than an MCA exec.
What's next, a live five song EP instead of the double concert set? Is
there any avenue yet untraveled by which MCA can undermine The Who?<

Well, there's still TKAA and MY GENERATION, so there's a chance
that some more tracks will be on those two.

I agree; MCA was and is terrible to their artists. However, I still
think they've done better by the Who recently than Capitol/EMI
has done by the Beatles. Hey, great business decision--let's
release their first four albums on CD in *mono*, because we're
too stupid to understand the difference between two- and four-
track recordings! And let's not give the fans ANY bonus tracks--
we'll need those in ten years to sell 3 double-disc sets! Not to
mention leaving some great demos off ANTHOLOGY so we can
put them on a future rarities compilation....

What do the rest of you think? Which is worse--MCA or Capitol/
EMI? Vote here....
