History 'n Kinks 'n O Lucky Man

Brian:

Thank GOD you're still on the list to educate us stupid Rock fans, who
also don't know Art from a hole in an album. I'm SURE this was news to
EVERYONE here.

> Oh yes! I'm a huge Kinks fan and I agree completely. My personal favorite is
> Arthur, but that whole period rocks!!

Leo:

For me, there's the "magic trio" of SOMETHING ELSE, VGPS, & ARTHUR.
ARTHUR's my favorite too...and Waterloo Sunset one of my two choices for
the perfect Pop single (the other being XTC's Senses Working Overtime).
And for what it's worth, I'd suggest FLIP YOUR WIG for your first Husker
Du album...it was mine, and still one of my favorites. I'd also like to
mention (because it was ommited by everyone else) THE LIVING END.

> here. It's a damn shame. I met Ray Davies at a booksigning in D.C.

You're a lucky man (Alan Price would agree, I'm sure). I know several
people who have met and hung out with Ray, but being in South Carolina
my chances of ever doing so are slim to none.
