     There is certainly some truth in that.  In 1989, however, there was 
     quite a lot of publicity surrounding the tour and they had no new 
     album then, either.  They were filling stadiums and I filled a 
     two-hour video tape with nothing but news stories and other publicity 
     off the television.  I don't think a highly conceptualized 
     presentation like Quad is as appealing to the masses as another 
     greatest hits show (but I sure loved it), nor are The Who as likely to 
     draw "casual" rock fans are the Stones (just my opinion).
