Last night...

Well, what can I say except WOW. I went to the Wembley concert last night,
and am stunned by the way they played, not that it should be a surprise.
The support band were quite dire, but the main show more than made up for
that. Rogers voice was on top form (as always), and Pete looked more at
ease, playing more of the electric than on the previous tour, and Drowned
had to be heard to be believed. The Ox was the dogs bollocks, and his solo
on 5.15 was incredible. The chap playing the Ace Face, although not well
known, fitted the part perfectly, and during Sea and Sand pushed Roger out
of the way ( a fine piece of acting). The encore was the highlight though.
They played WGFA (acoustic), BBE (great version), Substitute, I can't
explain (brilliant), and WAY. Oh yeah, and we all sang 'Happy Birthday' to
Pete, with Roger on acoustic guitar. A great night.
Boys-we love you.

I can't see that this is me
