OK maybe he doesn't drown in the album; Pete's hearing

Two things. I had posted before my belief that Jimmy drowns in the
end of the album. Well, OK, maybe he doesn't. I don't know. Pete
probably doesn't know either. Even if the story were more clear we
would still be left with our own personal interpretations. It
is never possible to see a work of art the way the artist does.

On another note there were recent posts about Pete's hearing and why
he plays so little electric live. I either read or heard him say
somewhere recently that with the acoustic he could feel it vibrating
against his body which compensates for his poor hearing. Personally
I would think the solution would be to go to a hollow body electric
but on the other hand that doesn't sound the same as a solid body
guitar and hollow bodies are more prone to feedback. In '89 I liked
hearing him play so much acoustic because there is so much acoustic
on Tommy but QUAD would require more electric.

7th row right center August 13th. Don't hate me for it.
