Comments on "One LIfes Enough"

  Of course, you could always take into consideration that one of
  Roger Daltreys goals was too be able to sing real opera ( I am not
  an opera buff or even a novice at that, but I remember either reading
  that or hearing him say it during an interview, so I cannot describe
  what would be considered "real" opera...)and I think it was a chance
  for Roger to give his voice a way to express itself differently. I 
  don't know if it was written especially for Roger's voice, per say,
  but I often think of how he wanted dearly to give us a chance to
  hear what he could do, or what he wanted us to think he could do,
  as a matter of all our opinions...I know it's not a rocking Who tune
  but if you look at that particular cut at a different angle, you may
  or may not see what I mean...just my opinion...for what it's worth..
  
  PS - I've heard some of Pete's demos on Scoop and Another Scoop
  that are soft like "OLE"....Is it Rogers voice, or the fact that
  it's just to lame and not a rocker? Just curious...

  I don't see this song as annoying or wimpy as much I find "A Man Is
  A Man" in that same tone
