Responding to Kathleen & Brasil

1st to Brasil..you were questioning the Velvet Underground song....correct
me if i'm wrong but I believe your thinking about "save it for later" which
was originally recorded by The English Beat and Peter started covering it
back in 1985 during his DEEP END shows to promote White City. If this is
the song your thinking about Peter did put it out on the Deep End Live CD,
also it was included in the video. If this isn't the song your thinking
of...please advise me what some of the words are and i"ll try to figure it
out...Cheers
2nd) to Kathleen,
Excellent reply about the Secret Policeman's Ball...I forgot Drowned was
on it (i just listened) WOW..by the way the John Wiliams who accompianied
Peter is not the Boston Pops John Williams...He is an English Folk Singer
with the reputation of sayyyy a Tom Paxton, not very well known...Also
did you buy The Secret Policemans' Other Ball when it was released?....thi
s has some acoustic Sting and some good Clapton, Beck collaborations on it.
Also did anyone know there is a video The Secret Policemans Ball that has
some of the Peter performance as well as the Sting Beck and CLapton...I saw
it years ago and wish i taped it.
anyone out there have it?
By the way Kathleen my wife and I hope to see you and yours at the show in
Hartford. We will be on the lawn you wont be able to miss me...i have big
hair ha ha ha if you look closely you'll see my microphone...
any tapers out there let me know......

Once in a while, you get shown the light, in the strangest of places, if
you look at it right.........
