Yes all Copies of Tommy on vinyl were pressed this way.  Keep in mind that
on stereo turn tables at the time the piece was recorded, usually had a
rather tall spindle in the middlle with a clip in the top.  This way people
could stack 2 or 3 records at a time instead of having to flip records
every 20 minutes, they could listen to 40-60 minutes wiithout having to get
up.  So Tommy as well as most 2 record sets were pressed side 1 backed with
4 and 2-3 so a person only had to flip the records once while listening to
the entire piece.
