I have had my copy of FULL MOON for at least 10 years. I
bought it in a bookstore in Seattle, WA.

P. Dougal Butler's treatment of Keith in the book is often
hilarious but quite often disconcerting for a Moon or Who
fan, i.e. the impression you are left with from many of the
stories contained therein is that Keith Moon (the human
being, not the Rock Drummer) was a violent, self-centered,
alcoholic, sexually-obsessed psychotic manic depressive,
etc....WOW....and if you can separate that from the Rock Icon
that Keith was (and is) the true tragedy of his life and death
are better understood. It is doubly sad, because not only will
we never know to what heights Keith's musicianship would
have risen, but a man, a human being, was trapped in his own
lifestyle to the point that it killed him. 

Two (and a half) questions:

1-1/2....Does anyone know whatever happened to Dougal
Butler? Where is he now?

2....Was anyone else at the Tacoma Dome Quadrophenia
experience and suffered through the warmup band
HOVERCRAFT????
