Age doesn't matter--it's the MUSIC.
Townshend is so great because he can articulate his inarticulity (e.g.,
girls in "Can't Explain").
This is something that crosses age/gender/racial/social lines.
Tommy and Wuad are both central in that respect: search for identity.
