I don't know, I don't remember calling you personally anything (alright, upon
rereading, I did call you a fucking teenybopper, but not personally), but (a)
I am not an old fart and (b) I have nothing to say about kids today and their
love/hate of the Who. I think the Who's music is timeless and simply
requires a bit more brainpower to appreciate than, say, the music of Def
Leppard, which is why young people, in their majority, listen to crap. The
stories of young Who fans as loners/outcasts etc. that have accompanied the
age discussion illustrate this point splendidly.

I would ask you to clarify what exactly you mean by "how young fans are
treated around here", but it gets dangerously off-topic; also, does your cold
shoulder to me qualify as maltreatment of young Who fans?

I do appreciate the raw energy and defiance of your post, though. Work on
the satire, though.

Incidentally, the only generalization I am willing to make is that young Who
fans across America, as a majority, usually misspell the word that began this
sentence.

Finally, stop acting like you're a fan of Herman's Hermits or Gerry Kramer &
the Dakotas. The Who were not a sugar-coated group and a discussion of the
band should be expected, at times, to emulate the group's "fuck-you"
attitude.

P.S. I see WF infected "you" with the
quotations-on-words-that-don't-need-them disease.
