The Who: Interview disc and Book

I just got at Best Buys an item I hadn't seen before. It's called
"The Who: Interview Picture Disc & Fully Illustrated Book"
At $8.99 I figured what the hell.

The book is Charlesworth's "The Complete Guide To The Music Of The Who."
I fully expected the interview disc to be ye olde "Talkin' 'Bout My
Generation." However, it's not. The selections are from a variety of
sources. Some of the bits I can identify are Pete's 1967 Finnish TV
interview (part of which shows up on the 30 Years video), most of the
1966 "A Whole Scene Going" audience interview, an 1980's John interview
where he tells the story of Louie the Lobster, and an almost complete
version of the 1969 German TV interview about "Tommy" (the one with the
"yeah" answer). That's as far as I've listened so far.

One EXTREMELY annoying thing about it 'tho. Some of the Pete interview
snippets are only a few sentences long and fade in and out in
mid-sentence. It almost makes you want to rip the thing out of your CD
player and frisbee it across the lawn.

But for $8.99, it's okay.
