Mike Heron was a member of The Incredible String Band. They were little
known outside the U.K. but were very influential on the upper
echelon of British rock. Some of their albums were "The Incredible
String Band" (1966), "5,000 Spirits Or The Layers Of The Onion" (1967),
"The Hangman's Beautiful Daughter" (1968), "Wee Tam & The Big Huge"
(1968), and "Changing Horses" (1969).

The replacement for Roger was announced as being one Boz from a group
called Boz's People. This was in Novermber 1965. Boz never performed
with The Who and was actually not informed he was to be Roger's
replacement (which shows how unlikely it was).
