Re: Open communication in practice (NWC)

Randy, re:

>Fang, you will love this. I tried to access it, and I got a message that
read "File exists, but access denied by user". That says more about Rich T.
than actually reading his home page. However, I do feel somewhat cheated :).

Sometime after I posted his website address he shut it down. However, NOT
before several other list members saw and corrobarated what I saw. Basically
what was there, was this:

* A photo gallery: "Mug shot"/"Easter Island"/"Caver"

* A section of whether <certain naughty behavior> is illegal in Utah.

* A very bizzare pornography referrence section to likes you haven't seen.

* A "ditty" on a putting a gerbil in your...

* A "Flame" that included racist statements against Asians

* A CD collection

* A refference bibiliography to "free speech" and anti-censorship (go
figure???)

* And... let's not forget an offer of a FREE fractial poster

And various links to other Web resources, good and bad...

The most concerning part of all this was a) the deprevity of some of the
content. Like Mark said, you can't post this stuff to the list. 1) minors
shouldn't read it, 2) I think 1/2 the list members eyes would pop out of
their heads.

b) the contradictory nature of the behavior. If you ignore the depraved stuff
and looked at the other stuff, this individual has obviously spent years
studying and advocating "free speech" and "liberaltarianism" to the point you
would think would be some sorta way of life. However, what we recently
witnessed was just the opposite. This makes no sense...

When I looked at this web site (after I went Holy <Picard>!!!) I thought of
a) Jeffrey Dahmer and b) the whole scene in the downstairs in the pawn shop
in "Pulp Fiction". But that was a movie. This ISN'T!

Now, I'll even offer a fair challenge to Mr. C (C = Censor). Open up your web
site again and let the list members have their "look see". You obviously
spent a LOT of time putting "that" together, so rather than be "shy", be
proud. If after many of the list members view this and think that I've judged
you too harshly, I will be MORE than happy to post a public apology AND I
will not post to the list for 14 days. On the other hand, if after reading
your spuzma, they think you're one of the sickest <Rikers> they've ever seen,
please go get some help before it's too late...
