I'd heard some singles but hadn't really paid much attention (too
young).  It all really started with Tommy, when a friend played it for
me straight through in March 1971, when I was 14.  I liked what I
heard from Who's Next a lot, but I didn't buy the album.  Bought Quad
after hearing it at a friend's dorm room (first year in college) and
saw them in Dallas 11/73 shortly thereafter.  Things progressed nicely
from there...:-)

I think Flanzer is not Roger's manager anymore.

Bernd, whether Fang knows it or not, I don't think his explanation was
to be taken seriously.  Thanks for the thoughtful explanation of the
_Tommy_ shutdown in Germany.  I have a friend in Heidelberg who I
hoped would go see it; guess he's missed his chance...:-)
