Well, in general, you might be right - e.g., all those American kill-the-
-fucking-Krauts war films are not very popular here.  But in the case of Tommy,
this argument doesn't hold:  Of course, the story begins with the war, but in
the context of Tommy, it doesn't matter in which war Captain Walker was
supposed to have been killed.  Germany is not even mentioned troughout Tommy.

Personally, I have no such problems with Tommy.  However, when I listened to
`I've known no war' for the first time, the line `of the German army defeated'
made me shiver a little...

We are not overly sensitive :-).  This is also a free country where you can
talk about what you like.  Even about the war...
