When The Who opened the show, all the little girls shit in their pants.
They saved the pee for Herman.

I didn't mean to be so vivid, and I wasn't there, but I was already a rabid
Who fan in the summer of '67. Can you imagine all the teenybobbers, having
paid their money to see Herman's Hermits, being, instead, hit head-on by
the best British band of the time? Complete with smoke bombs, high volume,
general destruction and Keith's brand new straight-from-the-factory
"patented exploding drum kit"?

I wish I'd have seen that, and I'm sorry no videos of the tour have shown
up. It must have been glorious!
