What Database do you use? & NewHaven 79

I'm trying to bring my tattered index card filing system into the
computer age, but am frustrated by my choices of programs.
I have many many many audio & video's that I want to re-catalog. The
ready made programs that I've sampled are not quite set up for tape
collectors/traders. They seem more for record/tape libraries or radio-station
functions. Example: I have many from TV rock video compilations. I would like
to enter artist, song/show title, date, tape#, counter# (or equiv), length,
quality, descriptions, source, etc and then be able to print lists by
artist, or print list by tape #, or whatever. It's the reports and search
capabilities that always seem to be lacking.
Does anyone have a program they are HAPPY with? What do you traders use?
I'd really like to enter all this data into something more useful than just a
text file list. Any suggestions? (probably should just take some FoxPro
classes ;-) )

Now for the WHO content:
1) Caught both Pete NYC shows. Loved every minute (though my feet think
otherwise!).
(Hi Jay - nice to have seen ya there. Are your shoes dry yet?)

2) How many nights did they play New Haven in 1979? I have a tape labeled
"New Haven CT" with 1979 set list. The order is different from the set list
given for the 15 December 1979: The Coliseum, New Haven, Connecticut "Gonna
Rape You" (Vinyl Dreams 803002). It's more mixed up than simply someone
taping the sides out of order. I must go back and closely listen for the flow
between songs, but if memory serves (and it doesn't quite often), it seems
continuous (as in not chopped & pieced together). The tape runs as follows:
Can't Explain, Baba O, Punk Meets, 5:15, Music Must Change, Substitute, My
Wife,
Drowned, Pinball Wiz, See Me, Feel Me, Who Are You, Long Live Rock, My Gen,
I Can See For Miles, Sister Disco, Sparks, Won't Get Fooled Again, Behind
Blue Eyes
Summertime Blues, Dance Medley: Dancin' in Street, Dance It Away, How Can
You Do it Alone.
I don't own a vinyl or cd of the boot. Are there any unique quips or
intros on that boot that might help me identify mine? Roger does say "Hello
New Haven, for the first time" after Can't Explain.
