I don't have it, but from what I've read of the Scoops, I would guess 
that the backing band is the same as the lead guitarist and 
vocalist--Pete Townshend.  He'd record simple bass- and drum-lines, as 
well as backing vocals when needed.  The same concept as John Fogerty's 
superb Centerfield album, with just one guy playing everything.  (Though 
Fogerty played more instruments than Pete.)
