Pete at HOB

       I got to see Pete last night at the 9:00 show at the House Of 
Blues.  He is playing with Jon Carin on keyboards/vocals.  Pete 
seemed very relaxed and in a good mood until there were problems with 
the piano he was trying to play.  He couldn't get enough volume out 
of it and the sound man was definately put on the spot.  He played 
both six and twelve string acoustic and a Telecaster as well as 
piano.  Pete played a wide variety of Who and his solo material including
such rarities as The Shout, All Shall Be Well, Eminence Front (on 
piano) and a couple of cover tunes from Mose Allison and George Gershwin.
Everyone who has tickets for the upcoming shows will definately be in for
a special show.  I hope someone has the equipment to record at least 
one of the shows from this tour.  That would be a very cool thing to 
get a copy of.
