Very nice that you should mention this at this time, as It's after
midnight, I just got home from work, & have been relaxing by reading my
e-mail & listening to Mike Heron's The Glen Row Tapes.
For those who don't know, Mike was half of one of the most magical groups
of the 60s-70s (with Robin Williamson), the Incredible String band, from
Scotland. In '71 he put out a woefully-neglected classic called Smiling men
With Bad Reputations, backed mostly by all-star aggregations of members of
Fairport Convention (incl Richard Thompson, Simon Nicoll, Dave Pegg, Dave
mattacks) along with john Cale & Elton John. There's even, on the CDreissue,
a couple of 45 tracks, one of which has Jimmy page on lead guitar!
Anyways, the song in question is called Warm heart pastry, & has Pete, John
& keith on it as "Tommy & The Bijoux", joined by John Cale on viola! one of
my fave little known songs!!

best, GaryM
