Revolver Remixed? I don't think so

As far as I know, Help! and Rubber Soul were the only Beatles albums
remixed for CD. In fact, I recall reading an interview where George Martin
said he had considered remixing Revolver (on which Taxman appears) for CD
(in part to fix the bit in Eleanor Rigby where Paul's voice is
double-tracked for a split second before moving to one channel) but found
the task too difficult, at least in the time he had available. A few of
the tracks on the Beatles 1962-1966 may have been remixed as well, and many
of the tracks on the Anthology discs have been remixed as well.

Perhaps this was simply an oversight on your part, which is understandable
given that the Beatles CDs either give no mastering/mixing information or
(in the case of the Red and the Blue CDs) wholly inadequate information.
Come to think of it, I'm not especially thrilled with the information in
the Who booklets either. The information on the back of the box set was
just plain wrong, and much of the information on the album reissues is
incomplete or misleading.
