Female Fans

        Just the other night I was in a bar.  Going through the jukebox's
selections with a female acquaintance of mine, she suggested playing The
Who.  She hardly knows anything about me, so she wasn't trying to be funny.
I got really serious, and I touched her arm and said calmly, "...you like
The Who?"  She laughed at me because I was acting silly, but this was a big
deal for me.  We got drunk and sang "Substitute" with several other people.
She told me today that she had an "incredible" time singing Who songs with
me.
        I can only speak for myself, however, one thing I noticed is that
females either really dislike The Who, or really, really LIKE THEM  (and
willing to make fools of themselves in bars because of it.)
