Actually... that idea (live covers) was being tossed around in '82 by the
band and then later when talk of a reunion was going on. Which, brings me to
another "funny" point... Before they officially split up in '83, they owed
Warner Bros. 2 albums on a contract, one was agreed to be live, the other
studio. The live album should have been easy and for several millions of $$$,
they couldn't cough up another album??? hMMM...
