You guessed correctly; MCA was afraid that A) no one would buy a "double"
LAL and B) they didn't want to piss on the sales of the remixed TOMMY
released not too long after.
Sure, they were morons. You missed my bashing of them, wherein I speculate
that to get a job with them you need be no more than a monkee with a pen in
your hand (comparisons to a certain presidential candidate welcome). Lately
I've been wondering if I'm not insulting the monkees.
