Olympic Who

A few days ago I had a cool Who moment. I was in my apartment (located in a
small New Jersey town not far from NYC) and I heard a lot of noise from
outside--more than usual that is. Then it dawned on me that the olympic torch
was supposed to be in the next town over (Livingston--for those who care). I
then used my cunning wit to conclude that the torch-runner would be running
on the street that my apartment overlooks. I thought this was pretty cool-I
didn't have to fight the crowd for a good view and how often do you get to
see the Olympic torch in person? Knowing that the local (NYC) news has been
making a big deal out of this whole torch thing, I turned on my radio to see
if they could fill me in on more info.
My stereo was set to WNEW (New York's Classic Rock station) and on came
"Dr. Jimmy". I thought this was cool because I don't think I've ever heard
this song on the radio before. Well, about half-way through the song I hear
the crowd getting rowdy and I look out of my window and I see some guy
running up the street holding the olympic torch while "Dr. Jimmy" is played
(at high volume) in the background. This moment could have been better if I
had been able to call the station after the song and win tix to the MSG show
(not sure which one). I was too disappointed because I'm going on the 18th
anyway. Well, I just wanted to share my Who moment with every one. --I
haven't been able to keep up with my reading lately, are there any plans for
list members to hang out before the shows. Please inform.
