Very eloquently put. I do doth protesteth too mucheth thenth.
I saw the PPV from '89 and whereas I loved the orchestration, Daltrey's
voice pooped out quite early... I saw them in '82 and was completely disgusted. I saw them in '76 and loved and cherished every second of it. I won't
cast perspirations on others who like later versions of the Who
.... I DO hope this version
is good - I'll always hope that... This is a nice second chance for the
boys to the the ending of the Who live thing right, and do Quadrophenia
the way it was always supposed to have been done..... And most importantly
I think the MUSICIAN lineup this time will be better.

And regarding the PISTOLS, this is the original lineup, unless one
of the following will not be there: Glenn Matlock (a GREAT bass player)
Steve Jones, Paul Cook, or John Lydon.
