     But "who" is Pete's audience these days? The
artistic circles in London or New York? The groups
that regularly patronize the clubs he plays during
mini-tours? The financial powers he hopes will back
the reincarnations of Tommy and Quad? Maybe the mods
that are still alive? Or does he know? Methinx that
speculating about Pete's attitude requires some
assumptions, regarding where he sees his life & career 
vs. where he would like them to be. I'm not at all
sure that he's drawn those conclusions for himself ...
