Joe Vitale (JAE content)

While waiting on Stephen Stills to check out of his hotel room 
yesterday, I had the chance to talk to Joe Vitale (who is playing on 
the current CSN tour) for a couple of minutes.  For those who don't 
know Joe played drums on The Ox's Too Late The Hero album.  When I 
showed him my Too Late.. album he commented how long ago it had been 
when they recorded it.  Of course I told him I had seen John in concert 
recently and that the album was suppose to be released on CD soon, this 
apparently was news to him.  He also said they had a great time 
recording the album.  I don't know about Vitale but Walsh and John have 
party reputations so I imagine some of the sessions got pretty wild, 
maybe thats the real reason it took two years to record the album. :-)

BTW, I did get Stills and the rest of the band's autograph, as well as 
most of Chicago who were opening.  Another successful run.
