     If there was a time, it would have been from early 1973 (when Rog's 
     "Giving It All Away" went high up in the British charts) until 1977 
     (when Rog's "One Of The Boys" LP did disappointing business).  Most 
     Who commentators talk about Roger's solo career at this time giving 
     him an independent power base, which allowed him to get rid of Lambert 
     and Stamp as managers of the band.
