What is The WHO? What could be the Best of...?

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to explain myself about this My Generation - "The Best Of The
Who" subject.  The idea I had in mind was to do a compilation for the
average fan not just a completetist.  I'm worried that some average fan
might pick up just another compilation that isn't worth a crap.  Originally,
I thought maybe they should just release MBBB and continue thru 82...but
obviously add some suprises.

I don't think it's fair to say "I'm a completist and I want the demo of this
and demo that and 4th take of 'Im a Boy'."  What if it's not par with what
is the BEST of the Who.  Rarities are not just THE BEST of the Who.  I want
for the band's sake a (for the first time in their history) to have a highly
rated compilation for the average fan.  It can only strengthen the fan base.
Alot of people that I have met might own "Greatest Hits" - - what a
joke....They don't know that there is alot more killer stuff out there....I
think that if you blow'em away with a "Best of" it means more stronger fans
of the band.  I am completist but I'm also a realist.  I want lots of cool
unreleased stuff but it will eventually come out.  MCA has caused a big
problem on this subject and they need to fix it.
That's what I want.  Please...I know some of you understand what I'm
saying(I hope you read this Fang).
